Eisenhower DIVAS/Lovely Ladies of Laurel, an all girls mentoring organization located in Laurel , Maryland is committed to providing mentoring services to young ladies residing in Laurel, Maryland.
This is the fourth year that these dedicated young ladies have been serving
Laurel and its surrounding communities.
These young ladies have given their time and dedication consecutively for four years. I feel the time has come for us to show them how much we appreciate there dedication and hard work. To date, they have participated in annual food drives, walks for hunger, walks for peace, walks for breast cancer, local parades, collected over 600 pairs of jeans for homeless teens, assisted in building a playground for an elementary school, developed a tutoring program for elementary schools, built a garden, built a positive rapport with senior citizens of Laurel, meet with Local and State officials, participated in Toys for Tots, campaigned for domestic violence, participated in voting registration, received acknowledgement from the White House for all our accomplishments, and the list goes on and on.
LLOL is a non-profit organization, incorporated in the State of Maryland
and committed to providing mentoring services to young ladies residing in Laurel . As the first mentoring program to be incorporated in
Laurel ; LLOL will seek to promote responsibility, respect, and academic rigor to a diverse group of young ladies within our community. We hope to achieve this through various self-awareness activities, workshops, and community service initiatives.

LLOL is patterned after the Eisenhower DIVAS, an existing mentoring program in Dwight D Eisenhower Middle School , in which I am also the founder of. LLOL may be considered as an extended counterpart of Eisenhower DIVAS. By creating a separate organization, I hope to reach a larger pool of young ladies within our Laurel community, including graduates of Dwight D Eisenhower Middle school with the desire to continue enrollment in a mentoring program.
The next generation of Lovely Ladies of Laurel
Lovely Ladies of Laurel Inc., is a grass roots program, start-up costs are always challenging. In an effort to provide the necessary supplies, space, and activities for the girls we are faced with many financial obstacles. As the program rapidly continues to grow, our financial needs have become a major stepping stone in our future success. Currently we are accepting sponsors. When you sponsor Lovely Ladies of Laurel, your organization's message and/or product reaches the entire Laurel community and it's surrounding areas. It's an unique opportunity to promote your business, build good will, and gain valuable contact with the community. It shows that your business is committed to supporting the nurturing to young ladies. Whatever your level of support, your business will gain positive exposure. The low cost of sponsorship will have a small impact on your marketing budget, but a great effect on your public image. The following are the sponsorship levels:
Gold Sponsor----$500
Membership Sponsor---$250
Supporting Sponsor----$200
Dining Sponsor----$100
For more information on indivdual sponsorship program please contact Celeste Hill directly via e-mail using our feedback comment box on our contact page or at celestehillr@yahoo.com. Donations can be accepted using our donation button located on the bottom left side of this page.
